Microdesk Becomes First Google Authorized Training Center in US
Nashua, NH Microdesk announced today that it has become the first Google Authorized Training Center in the United States. According to the agreement, Microdesk will provide training for Google’s 3D architectural modeling software, SketchUp, and geo-based visualization applications Google Earth and Google Earth Pro.
“Partnering with Google and adding training on their world class products to our offerings allows us to extend the value we deliver to the AECO industry” stated Michael DeLacey, President of Microdesk.
“This falls right in line with our long term strategy to provide a full suite of software, training and consulting offerings to architects, engineers, constructors and owner operators.”
Microdesk will leverage its expertise in 3D design and geospatial solutions along with its eleven training centers on the east and west coasts to begin offering Google Authorized Training in April.
“Our east and west coast presence, with major offices in Boston, New York, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Los Angeles, and San Francisco, makes us convenient to a large portion of the industry” stated Roger Charbonneau, Microdesk’s West Coast Operations Manager. “The strategic nature of these locations allows us to provide training and support services to organizations across the nation.” Charbonneau adds.
Microdesk provides business process, information technology, and software consulting to the architectural, engineering, construction, and facility operations industries. Its services also include commercial-level desktop and web-based software development for geographical information systems and building facilities management.
