The City of Bentonville, Arkansas Selects GTG to Implement GIS Software Solutions
GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Geographic Technologies Group, Inc. (GTG) announces that the City of Bentonville, Arkansas has procured GIS software from GTG. The City has purchased five licenses of LG Geo Blade Viewer. This software will enhance the City’s ability to serve its citizens. The City is also currently using LG Address to manage address points throughout Bentonville.
LG Geo Blade Viewer provides a set of GIS tools in a simple, easy-to-use desktop application. It allows for visualization of land management information such as utility meters, occupational licenses, work orders, building permits, and code enforcement violations. Local government professionals have long desired the ability to map and analyze the spatial distribution of all data that is tracked within their enterprise IT systems. LG Geo Blade Viewer is designed to GIS-enable corporate databases in tandem with existing GIS data to provide a powerful set of tools for visualization and analysis.
LG Address allows users to maintain address points, pass valuable GIS data to their land database, and ensures a 100% match rate. The application includes an auto address recommendation for new address points.
“GTG is pleased to continue our relationship with Bentonville,” said Curt Hinton, CEO of GTG. “Bentonville staff are progressive and are always looking for ways to improve the services they offer. Staff will be able to leverage their existing corporate databases, as well as their GIS data in one easy-to-use portal. GTG looks forward to working hand-in-hand with Bentonville staff to ensure they continue to lead Arkansas in GIS implementation.”
