GTG Integrates Geo Blade and FIREHOUSE®

GOLDSBORO, N.C. – Geographic Technologies Group (GTG) has integrated with FIREHOUSE® Software (FIREHOUSE® Software is a registered trademark of ACS) making it easier than ever for organizations to view critical public safety data via a mapping interface.

GTG has created a procedure to extract incident and other pertinent information from the FIREHOUSE® database and map the information in our Geo Blade line of products.  This allows users to view the data on a user-friendly, easy-to-use mapping interface.

In Titusville, Fla., personnel are using GTG’s integration services to keep incident information organized and easily accessible for viewing and reporting purposes.  Data has been sub-categorized into incident type, such as Fire, EMS, Auto Accident, etc.  GTG has configured Geo Blade to incorporate the FIREHOUSE® data.  Now all tools and functionality originally used in Geo Blade can be incorporated with FIREHOUSE®.  Users can perform spatial selections or enter search criteria to create and view reports.

Goldsboro, N.C. is using GTG to integrate with FIREHOUSE® to track maintenance on fire hydrants.  GTG is able to populate the FIREHOUSE® database from the GIS data the City currently maintains.  Combining the two databases will allow the City to synchronize work performed on hydrants.
